Randomly Talking

I would have had all of my lines in yesterday(But I am super picky about my voice--every syllable and phrase has to be exactly how I want it to be or I re-record until It is so, usually takes hours for an opening song because my voice can be a pain in the ***,LOLOL)

Are any of you like this also?

i'm extremely self-critic (u all might notice it soon enough lol haha), but...recording usually goes... 'fast' if I feel comfortable with the song........ But geez, when it comes to adlibs and rap, I am like super super super picky. @.@

I have some "self-confidence" issues so sometimes it doesn't matter how many times I record, I think I suck and delete it orz...

And it depends on the mood I am in, if I isn't feeling that well, I will most likely end up deleting it instead of doing something with it...

Usually, I'm very picky too 8D But it depends on various things... Sometimes I make tons of recordings just for one song (I get so angry that I just can't stop trying to do what I can't do and end up filling my pc with random tracks xD), while other times I feel more confident and end it all with 2 or 3 recordings... But I usually spend a lot of time recording, especially doing harmonies... In many songs the harmonies are the thing I spend the most time on -___-''
And mixing, too, I kinda fail at it ;__;

@ Rhea My rapping is like kpop (Girl Group) rapping. Not hardcore at all. LOL
So I try to avoid it. ; A ;

@Mayu I have confidence in myself and my singing but I am just super picky.

@ Nina I'm not the best at mixing either. Lol And my headphones are completely crap so I can't hear anything properly. (So don't ask me to mix anything until I get new ones x3)

I have SOOO many random recording tracks on my computer. I'm afraid to delete any of them because they might be from a song i'm working on. Blegh. x] Harmonies aren't that hard for me. I'm usually decent on creating a harmony if there isn't one already. ^^
I have this insecurity though. I have had a person say I sound super bored in my recording so I try to sound "Bubbly"/excited/happy when I sing, but sometimes it just comes off as squeaky and gross. ;A;

@Kiteru; I love to rap *___* ...especially Kpop rapping. It's soooo much fun XDDDD haha.. suits my voice better too XD
and don't worry about the sounding 'bubbly'/happy and such, i have problems with that too.. ;W; and everyone is like: "YOU SOUND SO CUTE", but lol, even if I sound cute I can't sound excited. AND I'M A GIRL. /shot

and mixing is a world of patience and rage. You should see me in school when I mix and starts to rage, people are like "O.o"
mixing is something I prefer to do instead of recording lol XDD it's much more fun but more rage. XDD i think you might notice that I'm a ninja when it comes to mixing XDD : D

People just say I have an okay/decent voice. On the outside I'm like :DD, but on the inside I'm like ; A ;(Just Decent SH**!!!). ahahaha.

Boys who have really shaky, un-controlled voices get all of the praise and love. Maybe it's because they sound super manly (And I can sing in a manly manner but choose not to because people say my super deep voice sounds creepy). xDDD

I just don't get it~ LOLOL

Maybe I'm just envious of their fame?

Not really, because I don't like the pressure of pleasing other people, let alone expectant fans :3

After this concert, I won't ever participate in classical concert again. Someone from soprano 1 got sick and I was ask to do the part at soprano 1 instead of soprano 2 at the last minute... ;w;

On the other hand...people suggest songs that has low parts for me please...XDDD i feel lazy to record any personal projects or official projects right now so...T^T

I know how you feel to some extent.

I am in my second year of choir, and I have to constantly strain my voice because my choir director insists that I sing the tenor parts with the rest of the men (Even though I am a Baritone/Bass)
Makes me hate coming to class. At the end of the day my voice is shot.
And on top of that, we have to dance while doing so. =.=
Singing and dancing for Two hours straight. ><

My once enthusiastic attitude towards this choir has been dropped to zero.

I hope I can switch to another elective Second semester. ;A;

Choir practice was awesome today, since it turns out that a friend of mine whose taking piano major at the music academy i was in will also be performing in this concert.

The frustrating part is, they decided to not let the choir to sing "Zadok the Priest". While I get why they cancelled that, since not all of our choir members know how to read scores so with such little time, they might not make it. But still... >.< It feels like all the time I practiced that piece has gone to waste... /sigh

Though, instead, we'll be doing Panis Angelicus, Libiamo ne' lieti calici, Habanera, and that one german song I forgot the name~ XDD

I hope the boys will join my personal project (Smiling)! All the casts that carticipated are all girls >.<
